Belmont Elementary School

Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year. The basic supplies listed below will be needed by your student as we begin the new school year. Teachers are asking parents NOT to purchase “trapper keepers”; staplers; pencil or crayon sharpeners; rubber cement; or wax crayons. A School Agenda will be provided to all students. Help your child by putting their name on his/her belongings.

Kindergarten students will need:

· 1 box gallon sized ziplock bags or 1 box sandwich sized ziplock bags

· 1 pump bottle of hand soap

· Backpack

· 24 count of crayons

· Box of tissues

· 4 glue sticks

· School box

· 1 back and white composition note book

· 1 clean or new sock

· 1 pocket folder

· Tennis shoes to be worn for P.E. for safety reasons

First Grade will need:

· School box (no larger than 4 inches high)

· 1 pump bottle of hand soap or sanitizer

· 1 box sandwich or gallon size ziplock bags

· 1 package erasers – pink pearl

· 2 composition book

· 8 glue sticks

· 1 package pencils, # 2 with erasers

· Back pack
· 24 count box of crayons

· 1 Fiscars scissors

· 1 box of tissues

· 1 pocket folder

· Tennis shoes to be worn for P.E. for safety reasons

Second Grade will need:

· 1 school box (no larger than 4 inches high)

· 1 pump bottle of hand soap

· 2 extra composition notebooks

· 1 package pencils # 2 – erasers

· 6 glue sticks

· 1 package erasers (pink pearls)

· 1 box of 24 crayons

· 1 box of tissues

· 1 box of ziplock bags sandwich size

· 1 pair of scissors Fiscars

· Tennis shoes to be worn for P.E. for safety reasons

Third Grade will need:

· 1 package wide –ruled notebook paper

· 2 composition notebooks

· 1 pocket folder

· 1 pump bottle of hand soap or hand sanitizer

· 1 pair scissors

· 1 box tissues

· 1 plastic zippered bag for supplies ( no school boxes)

· 4 yellow highlighter(replace as needed)

· 4 glue sticks

· 1 package pencils # 2

· Tennis shoes to be worn for P.E. for safety reasons

Fourth Grade will need:

· 2 black pens

· 1 box of crayons 16 count

· 1 package eraser

· 1 yellow highlighter

· 1 ruler (inch and centimeter)

· 1 standard size loose-leaf wide lined notebook paper

· 1 spiral notebook

· 1 plastic zippered bag for supplies

· 1 pair scissors

· 1 package of glue sticks

· 1 one and half 3 ring binder

· 1 bottle hand soap

· 1 box tissues

· 1 package pencils # 2

· 2 pocket folders

· Tennis shoes to be worn for P.E. for safety reasons

Fifth Grade will need:

· 1 yellow highlighter

· pencil pouch

· 4 composition books

· 1 inch binder

· 1 pair scissors

· 1 package #2 pencils

· 1 package glue sticks

· 1 box tissues

· 1 package loose-leaf paper

· 1 package colored pencils

· 1 box of crayons (optional)

· 2 dry erase markers

· 1 clean sock or eraser for dry erase boards
